TSKB incorporates the social responsibility consciousness into the goal of ''Environmentalist Bank of Turkey'' as a common denominator with its environment projects. The bank believes that leaving a healthy physical and social environment to the next generations for a liveable world and sustainable life is only possible with the sharing of education and information. Setting off from this belief, it focuses on the “environment’' issue in corporate social responsibility projects.

Being worthy of the award in the Eastern Europe region for “Sustainable Emerging Markets Bank of the Year’’ given by Financial Times within the context of Sustainable Banking Awards 2008, TSKB is on its way to becoming a role model in the field of ''sustainable banking'' in Turkey.

TSKB successfully applies the criteria of “corporate governance’’, “environment’’ and “social responsibility’’ of the banking concept into banking services. The bank stresses that it will continue its work in order to integrate corporate governance into bank operations with environmental and social responsibility applied and adopted by all personnel, perform the activities with minimum effect to the environment, make environmental and social responsibility the philosophy of the corporation, adopt the corporate governance, include it in main business branches, reflect it in corporate culture, policies and strategies and “process sustainable banking into the DNA of the corporation and all personnel".
