Economic and Technical Documentation Center(ETDC)

AIM OF FOUNDATION
The Economic and Technical Documentation Centre compiles and arranges the publications and information involved in TSKB's field of activity and puts them in service for TSKB employees and anybody who wants to benefit from the library privileges.


ETDC COLLECTION

There are about 10,000 publications both in native and foreign language. The subgroups may be listed as follows:

Miscellaneous Books,
References,
Professional and Current Periodicals,
Statistics,
Official Gazette Collection (from 1950 to date)
Turkish Standards,
Information Files,
On-line Connections for Laws & Regulations
Private Studies by TSKB (Projects, Follow-up Reports, Various Research Studies, etc.)
A large variety of CDs.

STANDARD INTERNATIONAL TRADE CLASSIFICATION
ETDC's collection is classified under three major groups namely the products; countries and functions related to both the books and information files. The Standard International Trade Classification system of the United Nations and the International Trade Centre's system are used while classifying the documents.


LOAN SERVICE
he References and Information Files can not be borrowed. The books may be borrowed by TSKB employees for a period of one month or an extended period if deemed necessary. Non-employees and other persons are allowed to use the photocopier and benefit from the library privileges only at the ETDC.
